Information we process and why
When you visit the site, our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address, request time, requested page and browser information to deliver and secure the website. When you contact us, we process your name, email address, message and any information you choose to provide so we can answer and follow up on your enquiry. Please avoid sending sensitive personal data through the form.
Legal grounds
We rely on our legitimate interests in running a secure website and handling business enquiries. When you ask about entering into an agreement, processing may also be necessary to take steps at your request before entering into that agreement. We process data where required to meet legal obligations. We do not use contact enquiries to subscribe you to marketing.
Service providers and transfers
Vercel hosts this website and runs the contact endpoint. Resend delivers contact-form messages to our business email inbox; our email provider handles storage and replies. We share only the data needed to provide these services and do not sell personal data. Providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers must be covered by an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Storage and retention
The website does not maintain a contact database. Contact messages are sent to our business inbox and kept while needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship. We periodically review correspondence and delete it when no longer needed, except where retention is necessary for a legal obligation or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Hosting and email providers may retain technical and delivery records according to their service settings and retention policies. Our application does not log message contents. Temporary anti-abuse counters contain a hashed technical identifier and expire after ten minutes.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers, third-party fonts or embedded media. We do not store your language preference in a cookie: the language follows the page address. There is no marketing-cookie consent banner because the website does not install non-essential cookies or trackers. External websites, including Autodocs, apply their own policies.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email hallo@autodocs.be to make a request. We normally respond within one month and may need to verify your identity using proportionate means. You can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority or the supervisory authority in your country.

We update this statement when our website or processing changes. The revision date appears at the top of this page.
